As we head towards the end of the year, I like to reflect on 2006. I have experienced a year of change, growth and many challenges. I have noticed that most of my clients, associates and friends have experienced the same this year.
We often don’t take the time to recognise the growth that has arisen through this struggle. When you reflect, give yourself credit for your achievements. You will be surprised as to how much you have accomplished.
Enjoy this festive season by focusing your attention on the task at hand, live in the moment and enjoy each activity you embrace, be it choosing the perfect gift, preparing the festive fare, or meeting with friends and family. Chose to do whatever brings you joy, and resist the temptation to do things just because that is the way things have always been done, Speak your truth, from the heart, and take on an air of gratitude in everything you do.

Feet reading- Window to the Soul
The soles of the feet reflect the physical and the emotional state of the body. By looking at the characteristics of the feet, we gain an insight as to how that person perceives themselves from an emotional perspective. We can identify areas that may be causing stress in their life, thereby identifying the root cause of dis-ease.
Each month I will be “reading” obvious characteristics of people’s feet. If you would like your feet read anonymously, please send in a digital photo. The more “interesting,” the better! Characteristics just identify the masks, thus allowing me to identify the true soul.

These feet are large in relation to the body size, meaning that this person is comfortable centre stage and has an ability to make a large impact. They are broad across the emotional area (balls of the feet) and more narrow at the heels indicating a focus on direction with a broad minded approach.
The right foot (past) is more swollen than the left showing unreleased emotion (unshed tears) from the past.
The lines on the left foot (present) show a smile, indicating the higher self is pleased with what this person is now doing. i.e. heading in the right direction.
The toes are shortish showing practicality, and attention to detail. The toes have straightened slightly indicating that, now this person is not holding themself back as they once did. There is still work to be done in that area, increased self confidence will help in this area.
This person feels slightly boxed in, this is indicated by the squareness of the toes. The 2nd and 3rd toes are slightly webbed. This is the sign of a genius. A genius has the ability to channel information and bring it into being. The shortness of the toes helps this information become grounded.
Also, webbed toes mean that his/her heart is in every thing he/she does. Interestingly enough the right foot in particular has a heartish shape to it, again confirming that this person works from the heart.
The overall colour of the foot is paleish, indicating he/she is emotionally a little washed out. The feet look soft and flexible, indicating a gentle soul with an easy going manner.
Pink and Yellow would be wonderful colours for this person to work with in the form of flowers, candles and clothing. Crystals that would help include: Yellow Citrine, Rose Quartz, and Bloodstone. The Perfect Harmony Flower Essences
What are Flower Essences?
Flower essences are liquid, sun-energised plant preparations which contain a vibrational pattern unique to a specific flower or green leaf.
These highly effective and safe-to-use remedies integrate the soulful experience with the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of wellness. If used properly, i.e., with understanding and awareness, flower essences can be significant catalysts moving us towards a more centred, balanced lifestyle.
How to Use Flower Essences
The essence is usually taken orally from a dropper bottle directly under the tongue, seven drops at a time. Here are other practical applications for flower essences.
~ Oral Dosage: Place seven drops under the tongue, usually four times a day, or more often as required.
~ With Liquids: Place seven drops of the essence in drinking water, juice or tea. Sip throughout the day, or make fresh as required.
~ Using a Mister (Available from Perfect Harmony in 100 ml bottles): Roll the bottle gently between the palms to distribute the essence molecules. Mist the body, your sacred space or room, bedding, or any environment where you would like to revitalise the atmosphere.
~ Use in Baths: Add fourteen drops to a normal-sized bathtub of warm water. Stir in a figure-eight motion to completely distribute in the water. Soak the body for about 15 to 20 minutes. Pat the skin dry. It is recommended that you rest or go to sleep after this bath, as the essence’s energies will continue to be absorbed after soaking.
~ Topical Use: To any 30 gm lotion or cream, add seven drops and apply as directed. Use on a daily basis. Essence drops can be placed directly on the skin and rubbed in gently in conjunction with massage, acupressure or reflexology treatments.
Flower Essence Focus

Peace Lily (Spathiphylum floribundum) ~ Strong vibrations of protection and cleansing, assuring inner Harmony that is reflected as outward behaviour and attitude. Disperses scattered thoughts in a challenged psyche.

Image Tips
Effective clothes buying by Anne Mair
With the change of season we think of buying new clothes. Carefully consider your purchases, think in terms of how items will coordinate with other things you already have to create outfits. When you buy a new dress for example, think of the shoes and
other accessories to go with it. Which jacket or scarf can you wear to give the dress a different look?
Ask your self some questions before buying:
- Do you have anything you can mix and match with it?
- Does it match your lifestyle?
- Will it be comfortable and easy to wear?
- Is it machine wash, hand wash or dry clean only?
- Will it fit your budget?
- Is it appropriate?
- Is it a fad, can it be worn more than one season?
- Is it of good quality? Quality counts, it is better to have four or five mix and match outfits of quality, than 8 or 10 'bargains.'
Slimming effects
Careful clothing choices can camouflage areas and enhance your best features.
- Wear clothes that fit and suit your body shape
- Thinner fabrics are more slimming, be careful with fit as thin tight fabric will show every lump & bump.
- Tops and bottoms of one colour will make you look thinner.
- Wearing too large clothes will exaggerate your figure not hide it.
- Wear a larger print where you want people to look and smaller print where you do not want them to look.
- An all over print can camouflage figure problems, but prints here and there can create a fuller you.
- Darker colours are more slimming
- A vertical line lengthens and slims.
- Wear bras that have good support & fit properly
- Pants with Boot cut or slightly flared legs are the most slimming.
Creating Desired Outcomes in Life

No doubt, you have considered the coming New Year and what you would like to
achieve.
Everyone has dreams, wishes and brilliant ideas, however sometimes it is difficult to make them a reality in your life. Goal setting can be a useful tool to help create any new outcomes you desire whether it be in your personal, health, sport, financial, business or family life. Goals are dreams with a deadline. Some wise person once said “If you can think of it, you can achieve it”
Merely writing a list of goals and putting the paper in your desk drawer will not support you in achieving your dreams. NLP techniques move beyond mere “goal setting” to the actual programming of our minds to propel us towards our desired goal.
Steps to C.R.E.A.T.E your Goal
- Concise: write your goal in a concise manner
- Realistic: is it really something that can be achieved. Is it within your control?
- Ecological: causing no harm to self, others or the planet
- As now: write as if it is already achieved
- Towards/Timed: state in the positive (what you want to achieve) with a Date
- End Step: Determine your evidence of having reached your goal
It is now…………………………(future date) I am/ I have ……………………(End Step)
Is your goal compelling, is it something you really want? Imagine yourself at the time of having achieved your goal, what will you feel, see and hear, where will you be, who will be there, what will be happening exactly? Create a vivid detailed picture
in your mind; full of the emotions you will feel at that exact moment of realising you have achieved your goal. Review your goal daily including recreating the emotions and your visualisation. You will find yourself focused on those tasks required to achieve your goal and bring into your awareness the resources you require.
